It is with great sadness that the family of the late Laura (Lolie) Hoskins announce her passing at the Bay St. George Long Term Care Center in Stephenville Crossing on Saturday November 18th 2017 at the age of 74 years. She will be sadly missed by her three sons: Jackie (Mona) in Lourdes, Todd (Lisa) Stephenville Crossing, Chad (Kim) of Fort McMurray, Alberta, two daughters: Connie (John) and Melanie (Mike) all of Brampton, Ontario. Also leaving to mourn twelve grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, three brothers: Jerome (Katherine) of Boswarlos, Ken (June) of Spruce Grove, Alberta, Eric (Judy) of London, Ontario, four sisters: Ivy (Mike) of Westlock, Alberta, Patsy (Ray) of Felix Cove, Beverley of Stephenville, Karen (Howie) of Grand Valley, Ontario and a large circle of relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Cater and Phoebe and sisters Marie and Carol. Visitation will take place from Russell’s Funeral Home in Stephenville on Tuesday November 21st from 7-9 p.m. The funeral will take place on Wednesday November 22nd at 2 pm from St. James Anglican Church in Port au Port with interment in the Anglican Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the St. James Anglican Church would be greatly appreciated.
