Krystle Alexopoulos
Krystle Marie Alexopoulos, resident of Grande Prairie, AB, formerly of Toronto, ON, passed away on Friday, February 10, 2017 at Points West Hospice, at the age of 30 years.
Krystle was born February 24, 1986 in Toronto, ON. She was raised in the Durham region and left home at the age of 25 to pursue her career as a Dental Hygienist in Grande Prairie, AB. In 2002 at the age of 16, she competed with 200 other ball players at Kent State University to earn one of 40 spots on the first ever Team Canada to compete in the Cup 2002 in Amsterdam and Paris.
Krystle was very driven, caring, competitive, compassionate and loving.
She enjoyed baseball, travelling, baseball…baseball, working out and watching the Toronto Blue Jays.
She is survived by her husband Michael Reeve, her mother Melody DeRosie, father Bill Alexopoulos, brother Billy Alexopoulos, niece Azaria Alexopoulos and by her loving grandfather, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
She was predeceased by one grandfather and both grandmothers.
A Celebration of Krystle’s life will be held on Sunday, February 12, 2017 at 1:00pm at Teresa Sargent Hall in Grande Prairie (9839 103 Ave.).
