Krickhan, Klaus Jurgen
Suddenly in Toronto on Friday September 29, 2017, Klaus Krickhan, age 76 years, beloved friend and husband of Rose (Hernandez) Krickhan. Dear father of Natasha of Toronto, Julianna (Phylip Munro) of Collingwood, Emilie Malcolm of Port Elgin, and the late Michael (1994). Dear grandpa of Astrid-Claire, Ethan, Isabella, Lilah and Gaby. Dear brother of Ella Ludtke (Julius) of Alberta, Henry (Alma) of British Columbia, Gerda Herbst (Rudy) of St. Catherine’s, Hildegard Paura (late Harry) of Cambridge, Ursula Sotzek (late Werner) of Thorold, Ingrid Hildebrandt (Egon) of Burlington, Marianne Queckenstedt (Rainer) of Dunnville, and the late Rudy (late Muriel Eileen) and the late Irmgard Rippert (late Peter).
In life, Klaus was a business owner, poet, historian, photographer and avid bird watcher. He held his role of grandfather most dear. He loved spending time at his cottage in Southampton, along the shores of Lake Huron, where he experienced “Solace more enduring than Nefertiti’s tomb”.
Funeral Service on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at Pine Hills Cemetery Chapel, 625 Birchmount Road, Scarbourough, at 11 a.m. Interment of ashes at Pine Hills Cemetery.
