Ketcheson, James William Freeman – at his residence on Saturday, April 1, 2017 in his 99th year. Son of the late George and Irene (nee Prentice) Ketcheson. Beloved husband of Gwen Wright of Belleville and the late Edna Ketcheson (nee Smithrim). Loving father of Jane (Jack) Herbert of Guelph, Marion (Duncan) Goldie of St. Thomas, Sarah Wilson of Winnipeg and George (Velma) Ketcheson of Belleville. Proud grandfather of 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Jim is survived by his brother, Robert (Arlene) Ketcheson of Oakville and predeceased by his sisters Joan Reid and Doris Ketcheson. He will be fondly remembered by several nieces and nephews. Jim worked many years as the office manager at the Coca-Cola plant in Belleville. A Memorial Service celebrating Jim’s life will be held at St. Matthew’s United Church, 25 Holloway Street Belleville on Wednesday, April 19th 2017 at 11:30 a.m. with the family receiving friends from 10:30 until the time of service. Private inurnment at Belleville Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the Steele Funeral Home, Moira Street Chapel (613-968-2273). If desired, Memorial Donations to St. Matthew’s United Church or to the Belleville General Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
