Obituary of Kathryn (Gallagher) Saunders
We are heartbroken but at peace with the passing of an incredible mother, sister and friend at the Drew Nursing home on Thursday, November 23, 2017. Kathryn passed away at the age of 62.
Born on April 5, 1955, she was the daughter of the late Ardis Willena (Thompson) and Kenneth David Gallagher.
Kathryn will be lovingly remembered by her three children, Eric, Elizabeth and Michael; her sister, Pam Trites; her two brothers, Barry and Dale; her three aunts, Joyce Gallagher, Helen Gallagher and Evelyn Brown; her many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family, as well as by her many friends at the Drew Nursing Home, especially Olivia Feschuk.
Kathryn had a passion for books and reading and enjoyed being in school. She loved music, had a great sense of humor and was a wonderful story teller. Most of all, Kathryn loved being a mom and was an amazing mother to her three children.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Campbell’s Funeral Home, 89 Bridge Street, Sackville, N.B. (506) 364-8188. In keeping with Kathryn’s wishes, there will be no visiting hours or funeral service.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Kathryn’s memory may be made to a local school or public library of your choice, the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada or to the charity of your choice. On-line condolences & sharing of memories may be forwarded to the family through our website www.campbellsfuneralhome.com or by visiting the funeral home Facebook page.
