Obituary of Kathleen Christink
Christink, Kathleen ‘Katie’
August 13, 1932 – October 28, 2017
Daughter of the late Otto and Wilhemina Discher, sister of the late Harold Discher and the late Phyllis Lance, Katie was a life-long resident of Pembroke. She recently moved to Country Haven Retirement Home in Beachburg, and passed away peacefully at Pembroke Regional Hospital. Predeceased by her devoted husband Ira, loving friend Earl, and son-in-law Allan Shortt, Katie will be missed by her daughter Paula and son-in-law Mike Noon of Renfrew & her daughter Debra Shortt of Englehart; by her grandchildren Brent Fisher of Englehart, Lya Noon (husband Matt Foulds) of London England, Blake Fisher (wife Jodie) of Ottawa, Lana Burk (husband Shawn) and Wesley Noon, all of Edmonton; as well as by her great-grandchildren, Shana, Brendon, Elke & Eloise, and her great-great-grandson Zadan.
Visitation will be held at Malcolm, Deavitt and Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Thursday, November 2, 2017 from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. A Celebration of Life will take place at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel.
