Lifetime member of the Federated Women’s Institute (Hampshire Ardtrea). Passed away suddenly at Spencer House on January 14th, 2017 in her 96th year. Kathleen (nee Kirkpatrick) of Orillia, beloved wife of the late Henry Joseph. Dear mother of Kathy Hummel (Roger Young) of Orillia and Anne Wood and husband Kenneth of Wyebridge. Loved grandmother of David, Christopher, Kevin, Greg (Ashley), Bradley (Alyssa) and Beth. Sister of the late Wilber Jack and Ross Kirkpatrick. She will also be missed by many nieces and nephews. The late Mrs. Kathleen Fountain will rest at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St. N., Orillia, Visitation will be held on Wednesday January 18th, 2017 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Mass of Christian Burial at Guardian Angels Church, 115 West St. N., Orillia will be held on Thursday January 19th, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. Interment; at St. Michael’s Cemetery, Orillia. The family would like to thank all the staff at Spencer House for their outstanding care over the years. If desired, memorial donations made to the Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
