It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of our dear Julianne “Juls” on Saturday, Dec 2, 2017, in Camrose, AB, after a courageous battle with breast cancer. Julianne was the loving wife and partner to her adoring husband, Patrick Mullin of Cornwall, ON. She was born in Halifax to Sandra and Jerry McNamara of Bedford, NS. She is also survived by her brother Bryan (Melissa) of St. John’s NFLD. She loved her dogs dearly, Boots and Blaize, who gave her much love and support. She was a wonderful friend to many, a fun-loving cousin, big sister, niece, and granddaughter that the entire extended family adored. Left to mourn and grieve are many family members and friends who cherished her dearly. Julianne spent her childhood years growing up in Lr. Sackville and attended Sackville High School before attending NSCC for Computer Electronics Technology. She worked several years at Eastlink before moving to Wetaskiwin, AB. She also worked a short time in Leduc, AB, before her cancer diagnosis.
Our family could not have made it through this difficult time were it not for the caring staff at St Mary’s Hospital, Unit 2, Camrose AB. We would like to thank Dr. Letley, Dr. Botha, and special thanks to Dr. Chapman who supported Julianne in all aspects of her choice of treatment and care. Julianne developed a special bond with the nursing staff who knew how to make her feel better and did so every day. Your kindness will never be forgotten.
Cremation has taken place. In celebration of Julianne’s life, we ask you to join us on Friday, Dec 8, 2017, 6-9 p.m. at Atlantic Funeral Home, 125 Sackville Drive, Lr. Sackville. Funeral will be held at Knox United Church, 567 Sackville Dr., Lr. Sackville, on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, in Julianne’s memory. Online condolences to the family may be sent to www.atlanticfuneralhomes.com Sackville Chapel.
