OBITUARY FOR JOYCE McCLELLAND
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother Joyce Elizabeth McClelland on Saturday February 18, 2017.
Joyce is survived by her three children. Son Murray and wife Shannon, daughter Cheryl Gross and daughter Janet and husband Willy.
Grandchildren Crystal, Jenna, Vanessa, Kerry, Leighton, Arrow, Ember, Summer and Great grandchildren Edwin, Evelyn and Ashton.
Joyce was pre-diseased by her… husband Jim McClelland, parents Joe and Elizabeth Furlong and her sister Dorothy Hiney.
Joyce spend her entire life in the Turner Valley area and was deep rooted in the community. Joyce attended High School with her lifelong sweetheart and later to be husband Jim McClelland in the building that is now the present day Turner Valley Golf and Country Club. Joyce’s father Joe Furlong was a founding and charter member of the Golf Club.
Joyce was loved by many and will be sadly missed by all.
Services will be held 1:00 pm at Snodgrass Funeral Home and Chapel in Okotoks AB on Friday February 24.
