Our mother, Josie, whom everyone agrees was so easy to love, has gone to be with the Lord and also with her beloved husband Ozzie (1987). Mother to Phil (Gen), Joe (Donna), Gene (Pat), Frank, Lou, Sue (Bob) Garbula, Jeanine (Steve), Bern (Gail), Marie (Doug), Rick (Nadine), Michelle (Carlo) and extended family Sharron, Marie and Lise. She will also be greatly missed by her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. “Que le paradis soit à la fin de vos jours”.
Visitation will be held at James H. Sutton Funeral Home, 401 Sandwich Street S., Amherstburg (519-736-2134) on Tuesday, February 14, 2017 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. with parish prayers at 7:30 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at St. Joseph Parish (River Canard) at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Hospice of Windsor and Essex County or the Amherstburg Mission.
