Joseph Tilker, of Hanover, passed away after a brief illness at Hanover and District Hospital on Tuesday, May 16, 2017. He was 57.
Born in Durham on September 8, 1959 to William Earl and Mary (nee Heintzman) Tilker. Joseph was a quiet man that could be found simply coming home from his work at Crate Designs and enjoying time with his family and friends.
Survived by loving wife and best friend Annette Loder of Hanover and her children Jessica Loder of Hanover, Brittany (Ahmad) Thabit of Edmonton and their children Brady, Kareem and Inaayah. Also survived by his mother Mary Tilker of Hanover and his siblings Ray, Jim, Ann, Rose and brother in law Tony Rowe (Angela Schwass) of Hanover. Remembered by his children Brandon, Cody, Shelby and Amy. Predeceased by his father William Tilker and sister Mary Tilker-Black.
Family and friends are invited to a Memorial Visitation held at Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover, on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 from 10:00 am until time of a Memorial Celebration at 11:00 am. Cremation has taken place with inurnment of ashes to take place at a later date.
Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
