Joseph Jerger, 88, of Riverview passed away in his sleep on
December 12th, 2016 at the Moncton Hospital after a lengthy battle
with cancer.
He was born in Romania the son of the late Frank and Ana
(Garner) Jerger. Joe was a bricklayer and worked in
construction. He was very talented at his job. He
was a faithful and active member of the Riverview Congregation of
Jehovah’s Witnesses. Joe enjoyed his family and loved them
all very much. He was grateful for all their care during his
illness and he maintained a joyful spirit right up until the end of
his life.
He will be deeply missed by his wife, Marjorie (Mullin)
Jerger; daughter, Megan Jerger of Riverview; sister, Terri Young (Rob)
of BC; brothers, Frank (Marion) and Alfred (Margarethe) both of
Ontario. He will also be missed by several nieces and
nephews and by all his friends.
The family will be having a Memorial Service at the Kingdom
Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 25 War Veterans
Avenue on Saturday December 17th, 2016 at
2:00pm.
