It is with heavy hearts that the family of John Paul Connolly announce that he has passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at the age of 52. John was a hard working man who went above and beyond for his family and friends. He was also a devoted and well respected man for his carpentry work over the past years. John is predeceased by his father Tom Connolly; brothers Paul and Bob and father-in-law Pat McCormack. Left with fond and loving memories is his wife of 30 years Jackie , daughter Amber (Colton), son Paul, mother Marg Connolly and mother-in-law Gloria McCormack. John also leaves to mourn his siblings: Rick (Sherry), Debbie (Gerard), Mary (Peter), Gerard (Jancy), Glenn (Debbie); brothers and sisters in law: Cathy (Lisa), Tina, Pat (Paula), Rita (John), Bonnie (Dave), Sandra, and Jeff (Tracy); special fur buddy Marley who will miss his cuddles; as well a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and a very special friend and co-worker Raymond Lavoie (Pauline). A special thank you to April Adams his nurse for her kindness and assistance during John’s journey. Cremation has taken place. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home Torbay on Thursday from 12 noon – 9 pm. Funeral Mass will take place on Friday, October 6, 2017 at 1pm from Mary Queen of Peace Church, Torbay Road. Inurnment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in his memory may be made to Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Centre.
