John Henry Edwards
1951-2017
John H. Edwards of McAdam, NB passed away on March 3, 2017 at his
home. John was born in 1951 at Toronto, ON, the son the late John and
Agnes (Stewart) Edwards.
John enjoyed hunting, fishing and fly-tying. His daily phone
conversations with his children was very important to him as well as
interaction and conversations with people in his community. He was
a member of ‘AA’ in both McAdam and St. Stephen.
He is survived by his children, a son, John Edwards (Jill), Edmonton,
AB, daughters, Carol McLaughlin (Naaman), Fort McMurray, AB, Sherri
Marraty (Corey), Red Cliff, AB and Danial Edwards, St. Stephen, NB;
the mother of his children, Geraldine Edwards, St. Stephen, NB; four
grandsons, Johnathon, Justin, Bradley and Kyle; six granddaughters,
Amanda, Ashley, Aubrey, Brieanna, Isabella and Evelyn; three great
grandsons, Hunter, Nathan and Blake; one great great granddaughter,
Lillian; one sister, Carol Ann Dougwell, Whitby, ON; several nieces,
nephews and cousins.
Visiting hours will be held at Voice of Pentecost Church, 82 Harvey
Road, McAdam, NB on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 from 12 noon until 2 pm,
followed by the funeral service at 2 pm with Rev. Stephen Tompkins
officiating.
For those who wish to make a donation in memory of John, the family
has suggested the NB Heart and Stroke Foundation or Diabetes
Canada.
