Dijkman, Johannes Willibrordus (fondly known as “John”) – After reaching and celebrating his much anticipated 90th birthday, John passed away on Friday, December 24th at the Georgetown Hospital after a brief illness. He is joining his loving wife “Poeksie”, who pre-deceased him in May 2015, and who he missed desperately. He is survived by two daughters, Marianne (Art) Bowen and Carol Paniccia and was cherished by three granddaughters, two grandsons and his great grandson Caelan. Friends of the family will be received at the J.S. Jones and Son Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Rd., north of Maple Ave., Georgetown 905-877-3631 on Thursday, December 29, 2016 from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. The funeral will be held on Friday, December 30th, also at J.S. Jones and Son Funeral Home beginning at 11:00 a.m.
