Joan Marilyn Stirling, age 73 of Halifax, Passed away November 28, 2017, at the QEII Health Science Building surrounded by her family and friends. Born in Saint John, NB, she was the daughter of Daniel and Alice Tonning. Joan was a long time member of RNSYC. Beloved active member of Alpha Gamma Delta Women’s Fraternity. Avid bridge player. Strong member of the Junior League of Halifax. Longtime member of the YMCA. In the last 10 years she enjoyed exercising at Ready to Rumba where she formed many friendships.
