Joan was born in Liverpool, England on August 9, 1936 and passed away peacefully at Hill House Hospice, Richmond Hill, Ontario on Tuesday December 26, 2017 in her 82nd year. Beloved wife of the late George Edwards. Loving mother to Lynn Burdt and Debbie King. She is a cherished Nana and will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren. A Funeral Service will be held at the Thompson Funeral Home, 530 Industrial Parkway South, Aurora, Ontario (905 727-5421) on Saturday December 30, 2017 at 11am. Reception to follow. Cremation. Donations to Hill House Hospice, Richmond Hill, Ontario would be appreciated by the family.
