Obituary Overview
Jessie Shaw
Mr. Jessie Kaleb Shaw of Red Deer, Alberta passed away peacefully after a brief illness, at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at the age of 23 years. Jessie was born on June 15, 1994 at Dawson Creek, British Columbia. He worked as an Apprentice Scaffolder at Joffre, Alberta. Jessie was a proud member of Albert Carpenters Local 1325. He was well respected and loved by all who knew him. His passions were family. He loved the outdoors and camping, and he loved his work. Jessie will be lovingly remembered by his mother, Tammy Shaw and his father, Robin Shaw, his brothers and sister, Chance Shaw and his son’s, Drayden and Keiden who Jessie especially loved; sister and brothers Robbin Smith and Jade Shaw, both of Crawford Bay, British Columbia, Jarrod Shaw (Chelsea) of Lethbridge, Alberta and Ryan Shaw and Bobbi Shaw, both of Calmar, Alberta. He will also be sadly missed by his step mother, Amanda Donavan and a step sister, Justice Nicholson of Red Deer; as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins, and a host of friends. Jessie is predeceased by his grandparents, Robert Shaw and Roberta Waffle and an uncle, William Myshak. A sentiment expressed by Jessie’s mother, Tammy is “Please give your friends Kory and Oscar a hug from mom”, and a favorite quote of Jessie’s was “If you enter this world knowing you are loved and you leave the world knowing the same, everything that happens in between will be dealt with.”
A Celebration of Life will be held Friday December 15 and Saturday December 16, 2017 at Balmoral Hall with food, cocktails and live music.
A Funeral Service and Balloon Release in Remembrance of Jessie will be held on Wednesday December 20, 2017 at 2:00p.m. at Eventide Funeral Home, 4820 45st Red Deer, Alberta.
