Jessie Madeline Pinkham
1923-2017
Pinkham, Jessie Madeline Age 94
of Coddles Harbour, Guysborough County, passed away, with her family
by her side, on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 in the R.K. MacDonald Nursing
Home, Antigonish. She was a daughter of the late Walter and Katherine
(Latham) Farrell. Jessie was a loving Mom who was a good cook, enjoyed
quilting, knitting, and singing in the church choir and was a member
of Seal Harbour United Baptist Church. She is survived by son, Audie
(Mona), Coddles Harbour; daughter, Madeline Corbin, Coddles Harbour;
grandchildren, Walter (Sheila) Pinkham, Chaswood;
Charlie (Wanda) Pinkham, Coddles Harbour; Merven (Sharon) MacMillan,
Seal Harbour; Peter MacMillan, Isaac’s Harbour, Blain
MacMillan, Ontario; Billy and Danny Corbin, Coddles Harbour;
5 great-grandchildren, brother, Marshall (Dot) Farrell,
Dartmouth; sister-in-law, Ilene Farrell, Antigonish; many nieces and
nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Harland, bothers, Wayne
Farrell, Seymour in infancy, sister, Erma (Larry) MacInnis, son in
law, William Corbin. Visitation will be held Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9
p.m. in Seal Harbour United Baptist Church from where funeral service
will be held on Monday at 1 p.m. with Rev. Gary Manthorne officiating.
Interment to follow in Riverside Cemetery, New Harbour.
Memorial donations may be made to Riverside Cemetery, Seal
Harbour United Baptist Church or R.K. Nursing Home Foundation.
Jessie’s family would like to send a heartfelt thank you to
the staff of the R. K. MacDonald Nursing Home, Tanglewood Unit for all
the care and kindness given to her over the past few years.
