Jenny Declercq passed away peacefully at the Beverly Centre Glenmore on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at the age of 97 years. Jenny is lovingly remembered by her son Colin, sister Johanna and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Rennie (2001) and brothers Joe, Roy and Andrew. She started her working career as a bookkeeper at the Pearce airport, just outside of Fort Macleod, AB. Jenny met her spouse, Rennie Declercq, through some mutual friends, and the two married on June 12, 1945. They moved to Calgary, where Rennie began his career with Calgary Transit.
