Obituary for Jean-Paul Depratto
Jean-Paul Edward Depratto of Alexandria passed away at the age of 84 on Wednesday, December 20, 2017. Son of the late Albert Depratto and the late Rose-Anna St. Denis. Beloved husband of the late Florida Depratto (née Bernicky). Dear father of Andre (Olga) of Montreal, Richard (Brenda) of Edmonton and Paul (Danielle) of Hawkesbury. Cherished grandfather of Stacy (Pascal) of Hawkesbury, Tyler and Brendon (Gaby) of Edmonton, predeceased by grandsons Derik and Shawn Cousineau-Depratto of Hawkesbury. Great-grandfather of Nathan, Caylee, Lucas and Ashton. He is survived by his brothers Guibert (Anita) and Bruno (late Cécile) and is predeceased by his brother Ubald (Rejeanne), infant brother Bernard, and his sisters Lucille (late Rolland Lauzon) and Marcelle (late Remi Prud’Homme). He also leaves behind his dear companion Marlene Cholette. He will be sadly missed by many nephews, nieces and friends. Relatives and friends are invited on January 5, 2018 at Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main St. South, Alexandria (613-525-2772) from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm and on Saturday, January 6, 2018 from 9-10 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Finnan’s Cathedral on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at 10:30 am. Spring Interment, St. Finnan’s Parish Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, Memorial Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Alzheimer’s Society of Ontario would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Jean-Paul, a tree will be planted in Memory Woods. A tree grows-memories live.
