Peacefully with his loving wife Judy by his side, on Friday, Nov. 3, 2017 Ross passed away at the age of 85 years. Beloved father of Laurie (Wendy), Randy (Bev) and Pam (Dave) Marler. Adored stepdad to Tracey (Al) Doughty, Wendy (Kent) Evans, Rob (Brooke) Vokes. Predeceased in 2000, by his wife Lillian (nee Coulson). Dear brother of Jeanne (Morley) Hood, and predeceased by his brothers Neil and Don (Marg). Ross and Judy shared 16 cherished grandchildren as well as six treasured great-grandchildren.… Read More » Ross was a dedicated Stelco worker for many years. Ross and Judy thoroughly enjoyed their golfing trips to Myrtle Beach with their special friends Bob and Joan. They also loved playing cards and dominoes with their family.
Special thanks to the staff at the Juravinski Hospital for their care and kindness.
At Ross’ request, cremation has taken place and a private family Graveside Service will take place at Strabane Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cancer Assistance Program would be appreciated.
