It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Bob on February 21, 2017. Beloved husband of Marie Eleanor (Thibert) of 63 years. Dear and loving father of Bob (Valerie), Linda Patterson (Garry), Johnny (Paulette), the late George (Porky) as we knew him (2010), Elaine Kisil (late Don), Dennis, Jerry and Shelly Lefrancois (Phil). Loving son of the late Lloyd Nelson Boughner and La Nola Boughner. Brothers and Brothers in law to the late Cyril, Jack, Wayman, Madeline and Roy Davis, Jean and Fred Lamont, Ruth and George Ryan and George Young. Survived by sisters and sister in law Eleanor Curtis (Dave), Donna Young and Alice Boughner. Grandfather to 14 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Bob will be missed by many cousins, nephews, nieces and friends. Retired from Dominion Forge after 36 years of service. Served as an Imperial Frontiersman for many years. Special thanks to Dr. Springer and Dr. Bergeron and the staff for their care and compassion. Thanks to the PSW’s, Hospice, St. Elizabeth’s and CCAC. You have all touched our hearts deeply, helping us with our father’s journey of life. Visitation will take place at Victoria Greenlawn Funeral Home (1525 Hwy #3 between Howard Ave. & Walker Road, Oldcastle 519-969-3939) on Friday, February 24, 2017 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Visiting will continue on Saturday, February 25, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. In his honor, donations can be made to the charity of your choice.
