James Paul Dunn LaGrange – March 30, 1993 – January 1, 2017

Obituary for James Paul Dunn LaGrange
It is with deep sorrow and with faith-filled hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our much-loved son, James Paul Dunn LaGrange. James was born in Calgary on March 30th, 1993. After completing his education at Bishop O’Byrne High School, he went on to pursue his studies in the Faculty of Petroleum Engineering at the University of Calgary. Growing up, James was never far from any activity involving a ball or a stick. Street hockey, golf, basketball, soccer, and ice hockey were some of his favourites. The last few years saw his focus turn to music, filling our home and our hearts with the sound of his guitar. James bore his health struggles bravely with strength and humour. He will be deeply missed; forever remembered by his loving parents, Mark and Kelly, and all his family and friends. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Gerard’s Catholic Church (8944 Elbow Drive SW) on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at 11:00 am.
“If ever there is a tomorrow when we’re not together, there is something you must always remember. You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think. But the most important thing is, if there ever comes a day when we can’t be together, keep me in your heart, I’ll stay there forever.” – Winnie the Pooh
