Passed peacefully away after a long battle with lung disease at his home in Pouch Cove, NL on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at the age of 68. Predeceased by his parents Rose and Sam Ryan. Leaving to mourn his loving wife and best friend Loretta; his dog Patches; his two stepdaughters Kim and Dallas; 4 loving grandchildren Summer, Thomas, Trinity and Mason; brothers Mike (Carolyn) and Malakie Manderville (Susan); sisters Patsy, Maureen and Brenda; special friends Paul Pike, Paddy Boland, Ray Wickens and Leonard King, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Special thanks to Dr. Robert Woodland, Dr. Vinichanker, Palliative Care Unit and to the Canadian Coast Guard where he worked for 32 years. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Friday from 12 noon – 9 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. – 9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Sunday, October 8, 2017 at 2 p.m. from Caul’s Chapel. Cremation to follow. Flowers gratefully accepted.
