Jim was born on September 6, 1924 in North Battleford. He lived there until he joined the service and was deployed to Europe during World War II. On his return, he found a home in Regina where he met his wife Liz.
Jim had a long tenure (45 years) as a Partsman with International Harvester Company.
An avid camper, golfer and gardener Jim enjoyed many summer seasons in the company of family and friends at Wakaw Regional Park, where he surely holds the record for walking around the campground and is well known for enjoying and sharing a good joke.
A GRAVESIDE SERVICE AND RECEPTION will be held at Regina Funeral Home and Cemetery, 4001 East Victoria Avenue, Regina, SK on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at 1:45 p.m. Please join the procession at the Regina Funeral Home and Cemetery service road for interment, followed by a tea and celebration of Jim’s life in the Arbor Room.
