James Douglas “Doug” Inrig Mar 10, 1947 – Nov 6, 2017
Friends would like to sadly acknowledge the passing of a dear friend, Doug Inrig on November 6, 2017. Doug, a truly devoted son, was chosen by Bruce and Betty Inrig March 10, 1947. His two siblings Anne and Scott, both of Campbell River, survive him. After graduating from Courtenay High in 1966, Doug began working at Laver’s Men’s Wear in Courtenay and Campbell River and then Searles Shoes. He went on to New Car Sales in Campbell River and eventually returned to the Comox Valley where he launched a successful lawn care business. He was a proud and well-loved member of the Pushrods Car Club for many years. He wore his heart on his sleeve and was generous to a fault. He will be truly and deeply missed by all who knew him. A celebration of Doug and his life will take place March 10, 2018 at 1 PM at 888 Wing Comox, BC.
