Jacques «Cook» Nowlan
Jacques «Cook» Nowlan, 69, of Bouctouche, passed away
peacefully surrounded by his family, at the Dr George L Dumont UHC,
Moncton on Wednesday September 20, 2017. He was married to Jeannette
(Arsenault) Nowlan. Born in Bouctouche, he was the son of the late
Damas and the late Ida (Cormier) Nowlan.
He will be sadly missed by his wife Jeannette, his six sisters;
Huberte Kelly (late Noel) of New Britain, CT, Marguerite Richard (late
Guy) of Buzzards Bay, Mass., Geneva Bowler (Louis) of Baldwinville,
Mass., Stella Belliveau (Armand) of Shediac, Lola Robichaud (Robert)
of Marlborough, Mass., Noëlla Murphy (late Scott) of Bouctouche,
his three brothers; Sylvio (Donna) of Saint-Joseph-de-Kent,
Léopold «Dorn» (Noëlla), Philippe (Yvette) and
one sister-in-law Léola Nowlan all of Bouctouche. He will also
be dearly missed by his dog and companion Buddy, as well as several
nephews and nieces.
He was predeceased by one sister Laurise and two brothers; Gerald and
Visitations will be held at Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de
l’église, Bouctouche on Monday September 25, 2017 from 2
to 4 and 5:30 to 6:45pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the
Saint-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, Bouctouche on Monday
September 25, 2017 at 7:00 pm with interment in the parish
In Jacques’s memory, donations may be made to the SPCA.
Funeral arrangements are in the professional care of Maillet Funeral
Home, Bouctouche.
