La célébration de
Jack Russell Kidd
JACK RUSSELL KIDD 1946-2017
With broken hearts for his loss, and thanksgiving for his life, Jack’s family said farewell on December 27, 2017. Deeply loved husband of Lynda (Timmis), cherished father of Elizabeth and Sarah (Kevin Beres), devoted Grampy of Emily Bird, Hannah Kidd, Charlotte and Evelyn Beres.
Predeceased by his youngest daughter Amelia (Amy), sisters Isabella Coleman (George), and Shirleyann Jones (Marvin), and a beloved brother of Mildred Lunn (Ralph), and Nancy Watson (Mark). Jack will be sorely missed by his brother-in-law John Timmis (Cathy), as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Jack’s life was one of purpose, and service. His commitment and loyalty were evidenced through Jack’s 35 plus years financial career at Gerrard Ovalstrapping, EII Ltd., as a Chartered Public Accountant. Always with a twinkle in his eye, his many small acts of kindness revealed his generosity and warm heart. His loves were many, including sports, especially golf, his newly discovered talent in the culinary ruts, and his cottage by the sea in his adopted home of PEI.
Friends and family will be welcomed at Bay Gardens Funeral Home, 947 Rymal Rd E. Hamilton on Tuesday, January 2nd, 2018 from 1-3 p.m and 7-9 p.m. Vigil Prayers will be offered at 8pm. Jack’s life will be celebrated with a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. on Wednesday January 3rd, 2018 in St. Ann’s Parish, Ancaster. To continue Jack’s legacy of giving, donations to the Good Shepherd Centers in his memory would be appreciated. Online condolences may be made at www.baygardens.ca
