Irène Allain
Irène Allain, 87, of Dixon Point, passed away peacefully at the
Stella Maris de Kent Hospital, Sainte-Anne-de-Kent, on Saturday
December 30, 2017. She was married to the late Alcide Léger.
Born in Bouctouche, she was the daughter of the late David and the
late Béatrice (Maillet) Allain.
She will be sadly missed by her three sons; Jean, Robert (Marie-Anne)
both of Saint-Lazare, Donald of Dixon Point, six grandchildren;
Melanie, Donald Jr., Mathieu, J.J., Cory and Angelique as well as
eleven great grandchildren. She also leaves to mourn one sister,
Yvonne Breau of Bouctouche Bay, one brother, Alcide (Normande) of
Bouctouche and several nephews and nieces.
She was predeceased by two sisters; Lydia and Anne-Marie and three
brothers; Arsène, Albert and Adelard.
Visitations will be held at Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de
l’église, Bouctouche on Wednesday January 3, 2018 from 1
to 3:15 pm. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday January 3
at the Saint-Jean Baptiste Church, Bouctouche at 3:30 pm with
interment in the parish cemetery in the spring.
In Irène’s memory, donations may be made to the CHUDUMONT
Funeral arrangements are in the professional care of Maillet Funeral
Home, Bouctouche.
