Obituary of Ian Cooper
Suddenly as the result of a heart attack on his way to work, on Wednesday morning, September 13th, 2017. Ian James Cooper, of Owen Sound, at the age of 66 years. Dearly loved husband and best friend of Bonnie Cooper (nee Walker). Loving father of Tracy Adamson and her partner, Mark Porter, of Owen Sound and Terry Cooper, of Allenford. Proud grandfather of Terrah and Presley. Cherished son of Lois Cooper, of Owen Sound and the late Clarence Cooper and son-in-law of Phyllis Walker, of Owen Sound and the late Wally Walker. Dear brother of Ron Cooper and Kathy McEachern (Ray), both of Owen Sound. Predeceased by his brother, Gary Cooper.
A Funeral Service for Ian Cooper will be held in the Chapel of the BRIAN E. WOOD FUNERAL HOME, 250 – 14th Street West, Owen Sound, Ontario N4K 3X8 (519-376-7492) on Monday September 18th, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. with Paula Classey officiating. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery. If so desired, the family would appreciate donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation as an expression of sympathy.
