On December 9, 2017, Hubert Leslie Andrews passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre in St. John’s at the age of 77. Predeceased by both parents, Harold Andrews and Martha Toope. He leaves to mourn his partner, Ann-Marie Billard; sisters, Florence (Pat) Blouin and Ethel Andrews; brothers, Malcom Knockie (Anne) and Ern (Linda) Andrews; his children, Sharon White (Sharon-Leigh, Stacey and Logan), Tony (Tina) Andrews (Samantha, Kendall and Kira), Walter Andrews, Jamie Ryan (Brooklyn and Christopher) and son Randy (Jennifer) Andrews (Addison and Lincoln) as well as many extended family members and friends. The family wishes to send sincere love and gratitude to the nurses and staff of 4 South B at the Health Sciences Centre for their great kindness, compassion and care. At Hubert’s request, cremation has already taken place and there will be no funeral service. He asks that you raise a glass in his honour and remember him well. If you’d like to pay your respects, visitation will be held at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 from 10am to 9pm. Flowers would be kindly appreciated or at the family’s request, a donation in Hubert’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association of NL.
