Howard Edward “Ticker” Shean
Howard Edward “Ticker” Shean, 73, of Moncton, with
his loving family by his side, died at The Moncton Hospital on
Wednesday, January 11, 2017, following a brief illness.
Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Howard and
Octavie (Gallant) Shean. Ticker was a retired Compositor at the
Moncton Times &Transcript with 47 years’ service. He
was past President of the Moncton Press Club, enjoyed bowling and
socializing with his friends and family.
Ticker will be deeply and sadly missed by his loving wife of
48 years, Irene (Mossey) Shean; sister, Shirley Lewis (John);
brothers, Joseph (Corinne), Clement (Corinne) and John
“Jack”, as well as many cherished nieces and nephews. In
addition to his parents, he was predeceased by sisters, Mary and Jean
and brother, Frank.
A Funeral Mass to celebrate and honor Ticker’s life
will be held at St. Bernard’s Roman Catholic Church,
Botsford St., on Monday, January 16, 2017 at 1:30 pm with Rev. Charles
Broderick presiding. Reception in the Church Hall following the
Mass.
