Herbert (Bert) King died of natural causes in Edmonton at the age of 94 on August 23, 2017. He was predeceased by his wife Pearl. He leaves behind son Ken (Robert Hunter) and daughter Karen (Stan Chow); three much loved grandchildren Becky (Jordan Richey), Wendy (Justin Wong) and Alan (Michelle); and five great-grandchildren – Maya and Kai Richey, Mateo and Maliya Chow, and Leila Wong. Bert spent his early years in Elnora before serving in the Royal Canadian Navy in World War II.
