PLUTINO, Hélène (nee Leduc) – It is with great sorrow that the Plutino family announces her death in West Nipissing General Hospital, Sturgeon Falls, on Monday, May 22nd, in her 81st year. Born on January 24, 1937, Hélène was the wife of the late Rocco Plutino and daughter of the late Adrien Leduc and the late Béatrice St-Louis. Precious and dear mother of four children, Béatrice (Laurent Boileau), Tony (Janelle Carrier), Ricky and Pauline (René Roy); beloved grandmother to Érik Bois (Sophie), Philippe Bois, Roch Bois, Manuel Boileau (Breanne), Brianne Boileau, Branson O’Neil, Cody Plutino, John Plutino, Benoît Auger, and Vincent Auger, and to great-grandchildren Mackenzie, Kayden, Kloé, and Xavier. Hélène is also survived by her brothers and sister, Albert Leduc (Jeanine), Claire Lavergne (Gérard), Laurent Leduc, Léo Leduc (Aline), and sister-in-law Helen George, as well as numerous nephews and nieces. She is also predeceased by her second husband, John Foster, and her brothers George Leduc and Claude Leduc. The family is receiving friends and loved ones at Théorêt-Bourgeois Funeral Home, Sturgeon Falls on Thursday, May 25, from 7 pm to 9 pm, and on Friday, May 26, from 9 am to 10:30. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 am in Ste Thérèse d’Avila Church, Cache Bay. In lieu of flowers, friends and family can make donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada. The Plutino family wishes to thank the palliative care staff of the W.N. General Hospital for the exceptional care provided.
