Helen Nedotiafko
On Sunday, November 12th, 2017, Helen Nedotiafko passed away peacefully at Gimli Hospital.
Helen was born December 8th, 1928 and was 88 years of age. Helen grew up in Ponemah area, she married Steve Nedotiafko and farmed with him in the Petersfield District for many years where they raised their family. They then retired and moved to the Beach in 1997. They both enjoyed trips across the border to various casinos, travelling in their motorhome usually to a fishing spot or having friends over to their place to play cards. She lived the last few years in Isfeld Villa in Winnipeg Beach. Helen was predeceased by her husband, Steve; children Hazel, Donald and Darryl; parents Victor and Lena Johnson; brother Herman Johnson and sister Marlene Stutsky and son-in-law Peter Pakulak. She is survived by her sister, Vicky Larabie; daughter-in-law Karen Nedotiafko; grandchildren Cory and Darcy Pakulak, Dwayne Hanis and Tisha Harrington, and their children/her great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, November 20, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Winnipeg Beach United Church.
Flowers are gratefully declined and donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 200 – 6 Donald St, Winnipeg MB R3L 0K6.
