Obituary for Helen Clease
CLEASE, Helen Paulette September 30, 1955 – July 27, 2017 After a short, but courageous, battle with cancer it is with sadness that we announce the passing of Helen Clease on Thursday, July 27, 2017 at the age of 61 years. Born in Calgary, AB on September 30, 1955 Helen was the daughter of the late Nicholas and Pauline (nee: Shkuratoff) Horkoff. In addition to being an exceptional mother and wife, Helen was a school trustee, television producer, Stampede volunteer, singer-songwriter, world traveler, gardener, dog lover, and community leader. Helen is survived by her loving and devoted husband Dennis, son David (Megan), daughter Jodie, as well as a very large circle of family and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to a casual Memorial Reception at the Bragg Creek Community Centre (23 White Ave, Bragg Creek) on Thursday, August 3, 2017 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Cochrane & Area Humane Society (www.cochranehumane.ca 403-932-2072).
