1927-2017
Hazel Stevens of LeFurgey Ave., formerly of Crystal Dr.,
passed away on Sunday, February 19, 2017 at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont
University Hospital. Born in Saint John, she was the daughter of the
late Weldon and Ethel (Mason) Stevens.
Hazel had been formerly employed with Omista Credit Union,
Moncton, however, she retired from H.H. Williams Memorial Hospital in
Hay River, NWT.
She will be dearly missed by her daughters, Wendy Cross
(Greg) of Sheet Harbour and Sharon Telfer (Phil) of Zurich, ON;
grandchildren, Kelly, Amanda, Matt and Lee; great-grandchildren,
Shelby, Rachel, Devon and Callie; sister, Shirley Murray of Moncton;
as well as her brother, Loris (Sandy) Stevens (Eleanor) of Saint John.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sisters, Wanda Parker,
Lillian Tracey and Sylvia LeBreton.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of
Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Rd.,
Riverview (869-2007). A funeral service will take place at a later
date. Donations can be made in Hazel’s memory to the
memorial of the donor’s choice. Online condolences may be
