Obituary of Harold Kilbourne
KILBOURNE: Harold Clifton –
A resident of Wardsville, and formerly of Highgate, Harold Kilbourne passed away at the Babcock Community Care on Saturday, September 2, 2017 at the age of 89.
Born in Middlesex County, Mr. Harold was the son of the late Alonzo and Rose (McDonald) Kilbourne.
Beloved husband of the late Jean Elizabeth (nee Harbottle).
Dear father of Tim Kilbourne and the late Sandra Kilbourne, Susan Busse, and Janet Gow. Grandfather of 7 and several great-grandchildren.
Survived by his sisters Marguerite Ireland and Shirley Ready and brothers Gordon Kilbourne, Russell Kilbourne and Ted Kilbourne. Predeceased by his siblings Dorothy Thody, Gladys Kilbourne, Madeline Kilbourne, Bill Kilbourne and Lloyd Kilbourne.
Also missed by many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.
Harold worked as a building contractor. He worked in Hamilton, Las Vegas, and throughout California building restaurants and homes.
In his retirement, Harold was the proprietor of Pure Choice Water and Ice in Highgate.
Family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 76 Main Street East, Ridgetown on Sunday, September 10, 2017 from 2:00pm until 4:00 pm. A Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home at 11:00am on Monday, September 11, 2017. Interment to follow at Gosnell Cemetery.
