Obituary for Grace Talsma (Hogeterp)
TALSMA (nee Hogeterp), Grace – The Lord in His infinite wisdom called Grace to her eternal home on Monday, October 23, 2017 at the Woodstock Hospital in her 77th year. Beloved wife of Jerry Talsma for over 56 years. Dear mother to Ken (Shirley) Talsma, Steve (Sharon) Talsma, Pat (Clarence) Nywening, Ed (Jennifer) Talsma and Lynne (Kevin) Stubbe. Cherished Grandma to twenty grandchildren and twenty three great grandchildren. Dear sister to several brothers and sisters and survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Friends are welcome to join the family at the Bethel United Reformed Church, 862 Alice St., Woodstock on Thursday October 26, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. The funeral service will be held at Maranatha Christian Reformed Church, 735 Frontenac Crescent, Woodstock on Friday at 12:30pm. Friends and relatives are welcome to attend the burial service at Oxford Centre Pioneer Cemetery on Friday at 11:00am prior to the funeral`service. If desired, memorial contributions to Word and Deed or World Renew programs would be appreciated and may be arranged through the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, Woodstock, 519-539-0004.
