Passed away suddenly, but peacefully at home on July 11, 2017 at the age of 69. Caring and hard working husband of Brenda Wells for 37 years. Devoted father of Pamela (Gary) Campbell, Charmaine Loiacono, Melanie Wells and Shawn Wells. Loving Grandpa Gord to David, Bianka and “best bud” Carson. Son of Lloyd Emms and Reta Bisson (Wells), both predeceased. Cherished brother of Esther (predeceased), Ken (Roseann), George, Margie Emms (Tom), Dianne Wainman (predeceased), Susan Emms (Jim), Ron, Fred and Jake (Ben) Martin. Son-in-law of Bill & Carole Brooks and Joan Taylor (Bill prdeceased). Brother-in-law of David Brooks (Nicole) and Susan (Bill) Wild. Special uncle to many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Gord’s family would like to thank OPP 911 operator, Cst. Varey & Cst. Martell of the Barrie OPP, Oro-Medonte Fire Dept., Paramedics and OSMH emergency staff for all their efforts and expertise. The family will receive friends at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St. N. Orillia on Tuesday July 18, 2017 from 12:30 p.m. until the time of service at 2:30 p.m. Cremation has taken place.
