It is with great sadness that the family of Gordon L. Serfas announces his passing on August 16, 2017 at the age of 76 years. Gord was predeceased by his parents Henry(Hank) and Edna; his sister Phyllis; brother-in-law Arnold and last but not least, his beloved pet dog “Ralph”.
He is survived by his sisters, Evelyn(Russ); Joyce(Garry); brother Ron(Carla); nieces, Stacy, Phoenix, Piper; nephews, Scott(Loretta, Brooke, Caiden), Sean (Colleen and extended family), as well as his aunts and… cousins.
Gord lived in Mazeppa for over forty years and from there also ran a successful business (Gord’s Auto Body) for almost as many years.
He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
As per Gord’s wishes there will be no funeral service.
Memorial donations in his name can be made to the Alberta Cancer Society.
Many thanks for the care he received from Dr. Chris Warner as well as the staff at Sunrise Retirement Residence in High River.
