It is with great sadness the family of the late Gilbert John Ricketts announce his passing on Thursday, October 12th, 2017 at Pleasant View Towers in St. John’s, NL where he has resided for the pass 48 years. He is predeceased by parents Alexander Ricketts and Myra Ricks; Brothers Gus, Walter, and Herman; sisters Gertie Gale, Minnie Randell, Ruby-Eileen Ricketts and Ruby Brown. He leaves to mourn his siblings Edward, Winston (Thelma), Allan (Rosie) (twin brother), Patricia (Roy) Toope, Roseanna (Kyran) Johnston, Francis, David (Juanita), Clayton (Marilyn), Wayne (Bev), Josie (Brian) Pollard, Maurice (Sadie), Brian and Derrick (Doug). Along with a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral service will take place on Tuesday, October 18th, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the Anglican Cemetery in Westport, White Bay NL.
