Passed peacefully away at St. Luke’s Homes, surrounded by family members, on Monday, November 13, 2017, Gertrude Genevieve Howell, age 95 years. Formerly of Northern Bay. Predeceased by her husband Augustine 1966, sisters Margaret Gear and Annie McCarthy (Patrick), brothers James (Dorothy) and Thomas Gear. Leaving to mourn 3 daughters Catherine Mallard (John), Patricia Howell (Gervais Bouchard) and Genevieve Howell; 5 grandchildren Sabrina (Nick Dunne), Erica Mallard, Shane Mallard (Emily Ursell), Jeremie Bouchard and Sasha Bouchard (Isabelle Blais); 1 great-grandson Julien Dunne, sister Theresa Butt (James – deceased), sister-in-law Lucy Gear as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Thursday from 2 p.m. – 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Friday, November 17, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. from Caul’s Chapel with cremation to follow. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to Corpus Christi Cemetery, Northern Bay or St. Luke’s Homes.
