Passed away peacefully at Grand River Hospital, Kitchener on Monday, January 9, 2016 at 86 years of age. Predeceased by her husband Kurt in 1982 and by her brother Adolf in 2011. Loving mother to Ralph, Linda and her husband Neil Chester. Beloved grandmother to Krista (Chris) Edwards, Steven (Tracy) Chester, and great-grandmother to Kyle and Matthew Edwards. Survived by her sister Hermine (Joseph) Harde, sister-in-law Katie Kurz, niece Mary Ann Kurz and nephew Ken Kurz. Special thanks to the staff of Beechwood Manor for their care and companionship. Family will receive guests at Lounsbury Funeral Home, 1766 Franklin Blvd., Cambridge, on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 from 2-4pm & 7-9pm. Funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Thursday, January 12, 2017 at 11:00am followed by interment at New Hope Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations made to the Grand River Hospital Hemodialysis Unit would be greatly appreciated by the family.
