1927-2017
Following a lengthy illness, Gerald Walter Jackson of Aroostook, NB,
passed away peacefully at Hotel Dieu St. Joseph Hospital on September
8, 2017.
Gerald was born in Aroostook, NB, on March 21, 1927. He was the son of
the late James and Josephine (DeWitt) Jackson. Gerald leaves behind
his wife, Joyce Jackson (Kidd); his daughter, Roberta Sisson-Kimble
(George Holmes) of Upper Kent, NB; his son James Jackson of Woodstock,
NB; his step-son, Anthony Borowski of Dallas, TX; his brother, Cecil
Jackson (Clara) resident of the Falls Villa in Grand Falls, NB; his
grandchildren, Dean Sisson of Perth-Andover, NB, Gerald Sisson (Sue)
of Slave Lake, AB, Chris Sisson (Amy) of Woodstock, NB; his great
grandchildren, Alex, Noah, and Alanda Sisson all of Slave Lake, AB;
great great grandchildren Jackson and Presley; along with many nieces
and nephews.
Gerald was predeceased by his parents; his first wife, Faye Jackson
(Crouse); his sister, Jacqueline Smith; brothers, Douglas, John, and
James Jackson.
Gerald was a veteran of the Second World War.
By Gerald’s request, there will be no visitation. A graveside service
will be held on Wednesday, September 13th, 2017 at 1 pm from the
Presbyterian Rural Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to a charity of your choice
would be appreciated by the family.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home,
Perth-Andover.
