Gerald Henry Louis Fridman
Gerald in his 90th year, passed away with family
around him on Friday, November 24th, 2017 at University Hospital,
London.
Gerald is survived by his wife Janet, daughters Sara
(Jay), Penelope, Candida (George) and grandsons Royce (Chelsea) and
Sam. He was predeceased by his son Saul (2014).
He graduated in Law from Oxford University in 1948 and
embarked on a brilliant career which encompassed 3 continents. He was
a prolific scholar, writing over thirty books and numerous articles.
His contribution to law was rewarded in 2016 by the conferring of an
honourary doctorate by the University of Western Ontario. His passion
was equaled by his love of music, theatre and travel. He took pride in
having visited over 100 countries.
The funeral service will be held at
Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas Street,
(between Waterloo and Colborne Streets), London, Ontario on Friday,
December 1, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. with Rabbi Gurkow
of the congregation Beth Tefilah
officiating.
Interment Or Shalom Cemetery, London, Ontario.
