– 2017
Gerry Lewis, 74, of Moncton and formerly of Shediac, NB,
passed away unexpectedly on Monday, May 29, 2017. Born in Salisbury,
he was the son of the late Archibald and Anna Lewis. Gerry was a
former employee with Irving Oil Ltd. and later retired from Curtis
Industries.
Gerry was well loved for his sense of humour and his easy
going nature. A loving and caring husband, father, grandfather,
brother and friend, he will sadly missed by his daughter Heather Lewis
(Rob Robichaud) his grandchildren Sadie and Oriah Robichaud; son Chris
Lewis; brothers Gary Lewis (the late Linda) and Bill Lewis (Gloria);
as well as nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by his beloved wife of
46 years Pamela L. Lewis in 2013 and by his sister
Annabel.
Honouring Gerry’s wishes cremation has taken
place.
A Graveside and Committal Service will be held on Monday,
June 5, 2017 at 2:00pm from Five Points Cemetery with The Rev. Chris
VanBuskirk officiating.
Donations in Gerry’s memory made to the Peter McKee Community
Food Center – Food Depot Alimentaire would be appreciated by his
family.
