At Lincourt Manor, St. Stephen, NB., George Malcolm McLay passed away on Wednesday, December 20, 2017.
Born in St. Stephen NB., son of the late Edward Alexander and Hilda Christine (Williams) McLay.
George was a member of many non-profit charitable organizations, such as, Knights of Pythias Past Supreme Rep, Past Worshipful Master Sussex Lodge # 9 F& AM, Royal Arch Chapter # 6, Luxor Shriners, Order of Eastern Star St. Stephen Chapter #8, DOKK-El Shara Temple #30, Royal Canadian Legion St Croix Branch #9.
Survived by his wife, Marie (Fraser) , four sons: Eddie, Carey and Gary, All of St. Stephen, NB., Kevin (Elizabeth) of Moncton, NB., brothers, Stephen McLay (Eileen Merrill) of St. Stephen, NB., Melvin A. McLay (Colleen) of Edinburg, Maine, Ralph Williams (Ruth) of St. Stephen, NB and Raymond Williams(Stephanie) of New Maryland, NB., nieces and nephews.
By George’s request, there will be no funeral service or visitation.
For those who wish, remembrances to the Charlotte County Cancer Society, Alzheimers Society or a charity of one’s choice would be appreciated by the family. Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.mehanfuneralhome.ca
