Peacefully at the Hospice Renfrew, with his loving family at his side, on Sunday July 16, 2017 at the age of 97 years. Frank Blaskie of Pembroke beloved husband of the late Lucy Blaskie (nee Senack). Loved and cherished father of Daniel Blaskie (Anita), Otter Lake, QC, Felix Blaskie, Ambrose Blaskie, Rosemary Blaskie and David Blaskie all of Pembroke and the late Lawrence Blaskie. Grandpa Frank to Todd Lafleur. Son of the late Frank and Lucy (nee Adamchick) Blaskie. Dear brother of Paul Blaskie, Otter Lake QC and predeceased by his brothers Johnny, Peter, Isadore, Theo, Joe and Martin Blaskie and sisters Kathleen Lafleur and Lucy Dorczyk. Frank will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews and all his relatives and friends. Friends are invited to share their memories of Frank with his family during visitation at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 296 Isabella Street, Pembroke on Wednesday 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. and after 9 a.m. Thursday. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday July 20 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Columbkille’s Cathedral, Pembroke. Interment in St. Charles Borromeo Cemetery Otter Lake Quebec.
